Soprano Gunda Leine and pianist Pedro G. A. Aguinagalderomalde present a programme of their favourite love songs exploring tenderness, longing, joy, and playfulness. This musical journey across Europe blends beloved 19th- and 20th-century German and French art-songs (Schumann, Strauss, Debussy, Fauré) with enchanting Latvian and Basque songs. Selected poems are recited in translation, allowing to connect directly with the stories behind the music.
